Managed services for the AI era.
SysGroup is a UK IT managed services provider focused on mid-market organisations, typically with 100 to 2,000 employees. It runs and secures critical IT across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and compliance. Customers buy a broad outsourced IT service under one contract, with one accountable team. Revenue is predominantly recurring and supported by long-term managed services contracts. Cybersecurity is a significant and growing part of the business.
The MSP model is changing. SysGroup is building for what comes next.
For years, much of managed services was built around break-fix support: when something failed, the provider responded. That is no longer enough. Mid-market businesses now face the same cyber threats, compliance pressures and technology complexity as larger companies, but without the same internal resources.
SysGroup's response is MSP 3.0: AI-driven, insight-led managed services. The group is applying AI across service delivery and internal operations to help identify issues earlier, improve consistency and move support from reactive to more proactive.
Alongside this, SysGroup is pursuing a disciplined buy-and-build strategy. The UK managed services market is fragmented, creating scope for consolidation. SysGroup acquires compatible businesses that add capability, customers or scale, and integrates them into a more standardised operating model.
The result is a business built on recurring revenue, a growing cybersecurity business, AI-supported operations and a clear opportunity to build scale in a fragmented market.
